Chris Bigler is a professional poker player from Switzerland. Bigler made the televised final table of the WPT 1st season, finishing 2nd at the Gold Rush event. This was 2002, where the prize pools were tiny in comparison to today's WPT tournaments, Chris Bigler made $88,000 for his efforts that day. His biggest poker win came in the 1999 WSOP main event, he finished 5th, earning over $200,000.

Chris Bigler was at my second and final tables of the $500 NL Hold'em shoot-out during the LA Poker Classic. I don't recall playing a pot with him but remember him being very active around the final table bubble. One play which surprised me, was Bigler with an average stack calling a large raise pre-flop against a short-stack with Q9 off, and flopping 2 pair against pocket Jacks. He must of had a concrete read on the player in order to make the call pre-flop a profitable one. He went on to win the tournament, but had agreed on a 4-way chop beforehand.
