Martin de Knijff

Martin de Knijff is professional poker player from Stockholm in Sweden. De Knijff rose to prominence after winning the 2005 WPT 5-Star World Poker Classic, earning over $2,700,000 for the victory. He followed up that tremendous accomplishment by finishing 2nd in a $5,000 buy-in No Limit Hold'em event at the World Series of Poker.
Martin de Knijff founded his own online poker room, MartinsPoker.com. Martin's Poker boasts poker pros such as Patrik Antonious amongst their team.
Martin de Knijff was at my opening table of the $2,500 NLHE shorthanded event at the 2006 WSOP. He has a very good table presence, partially down to his somewhat-looking psychotic eyes. I'd heard rumours of his high-stakes sports bettings antics and it was clear from an early stage that he was prepared gamble, getting his chips in to the middle with all combinations of draws and made hands.
