Ken Lennard Poker Scandal

Earlier this year, a cheating scandal immerged with Ken Lennard being the main conductor in a crooked home game. The intended victims who were to be cheated included Swedish professional poker players, Eric Sagstrom, Martin De Knijff and Christer Johanson. Apparently, Lennaard with the help of renown poker cheat Russ Georgiev, had formulated a plan involving marked cards and an inside dealer, who would use the mechanic technique to distribute the cards in favour of the cheats. The setting for the Swedish pros to be hustled was a private home game set up in Lennaard's family-run hotel. Lennard tried to entice the players with the notion that an American billionaire would be in the game, and it would be very profitable. The game never happened and the players were never cheated, but the story stirred up much anger towards Ken Lennard, which resulted in him resigning from the Swedish poker Association.

Ken Lennaard was moved to my table during the WPT Paris 2005 event. He played very well pre-flop and on the flop, but seemed slightly lost on the turn and river. His motionless state and non-stop continuation bets were very impressive. Lennaard accumulated chips well and was unfortunate to run in to a cold deck.
